Eric Schaanning received FNR Award 2018 for Outstanding PhD Thesis

The Luxembourg National Research Fund awarded Eric Schaanning the 2018 Outstanding PhD Thesis Award for his dissertation "Fire sales and systemic risk in financial networks", which he finished 2017 at Imperial College London under the supervision of Professor Rama Cont. After spending a year at RiskLab as a postdoctoral researcher of Professor Paul Embrechts, Eric joined the European Systemic Risk Board in October 2018.
