John Ery: 3rd place at DATA MINING CUP 2018

John Ery, PhD student of Professor Patrick Cheridito, got the 3rd place at the DATA MINING CUP 2018 International student competition for his prediction model of sell-out dates for online sports retail products. Two other members in his team, Loris Michel (PhD student at Seminar für Statistik) and Alain Rossier, won the 1st prize for their model.
